GLIDER RIDES AT HARRIS HILL SOARING CORPORATION

Are you interested in experiencing soaring first-hand? Take a glider ride on Harris Hill! The National Soaring Museum sells glider ride gift certificates on behalf of Harris Hill Soaring Corporation. They can be purchased all year 'round via phone at (607) 734-3128, or in person in our Museum Store.

PRICING:

• Schleicher ASK-21 high-performance sailplane: $140.00

This high-performance sailplane provides a smooth ride with a relaxed seating position and is an excellent choice for people who are taking a ride as a one-time experience.

Harris Hill Soaring Corporation offers rides 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekends from April through October; from late June through August it operates seven days a week. The glider ride certificates are good for 2 years and rides are given on a first-come, first-served basis.                                                                                                                                                                                          
Please call ahead on the day you wish to fly; the sport of soaring is very weather-dependent. Therefore, not every day is a good soaring day. The ride lasts approximately 15-20 minutes, not including prep time. Be sure to bring your camera to capture the experience!
